We require an accomplished HR professional who will be engaged in building regional capabilities as well as collaborating in defining Group wide policies, processes and programmes to position the company for its next phase of development.

The Asia Region is particularly important as an origination and distribution business within the context of ED&F Man’s Global Supply Chains.

The Asia Region also includes manufacturing and the market leader for premium branded sugar in Singapore and the Middle East  ESIS.

The successful candidate will join at a time when global demand for agricultural commodities is at an all-time high and unprecedented challenges and opportunities exist. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Active member of the Group Human Resources Leadership Team tasked with building a progressive Human Resources capability within ED&F Man Group.
• Responsible for deploying Group HR policies, processes and programmes as well as partnering with various Business Units operating within the Asia Region.
• Directly responsible for the quality of all aspects of Human Resources within Asia.

• Over 10 years HR generalist experience with an emphasis on talent development, recruitment, compensation and benefits.

• Knowledge of Asia marketplaces, especially their employment laws and practices, and experience of aspects of international mobility.

Educational Background:

Proven track record/senior line management experience in a Service or Travel Industry company (airline, hotel etc …) operating in international markets and with a high focus on service levels and asset efficiency in a low margin industry . Experience with multi-level, matrix reporting and complex relationship responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to work with business leaders and regionally dispersed workforces.
